Lana Del Rey inspired look

Ok bad blogger alert! I know I said in my last post I was going to do a blog but then we started decorating (buying new furniture and kicking my sister out) my room and I didn't have time! Hopefully I will now be back in full form! Because of this, I have decided to do a look that I love. I love Lana Del Rey and her look so I thought, I was try and re-create her look and make it my own (kind of).

Starting with all the products I used
Maybelline Dream Smooth Primer
Rimmel London Perfect Match Foundation in 100 Ivory
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
Collection lasting perfection Concealer in 1 Fair
Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder
Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Pallet in What's Nude
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Stila in the light pallet
Benefit Magic Ink Jet Black Liquid Eyeliner
MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner in Snow White
L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara in Black
MUA lipstick in shade 14 (Nude)

So Starting with my foundation. First I used my primer all over my face ready for my foundation. Just using my hands. I then used my Rimmel foundation all over my face using a Real Techniques expert face brush, then used the collection concealer for any blemishes and darkness under my eyes using a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush and then set it all with my Rimmel powder using a un-named Kabuki Brush.

Moving onto eyes. I started by priming my eyelids using the primer potion, just using my finger. Then as a base I used the colour Vanilla on the soap and glory pallet, using my finger, and pressed that all over the lid. I used my finger so I could get the most intense white/clear matte colour. Then using a Real Techniques base shadow brush. I took the colour vanilla and just put a small amount all over my eye, up to the brow bone.
Moving onto my Stila pallet. I used the colour Sandstorm with a Real Techniques detailer brush and just drew a line in my crease. I do this so I have a guide where to put the crease. I didn't take the line all the way into my eye socket. I took it about half way along. Using a Revlon fluffy brush I took the same colour and really blended in that line. Taking a little bit of the eye shadow at a time and if the colour was too intense, I would use another CLEAN fluffy brush to take away anything I didn't want. Keeping the main colour in my crease and then just a small amount in the far corner of the lid.  To make the colour a little softer I used the colour bliss over that. Just to make the edges a little more softer.
Then I used my liquid eyeliner to draw a small thin line along the lash line and taking it out and creating a thin but long flick. Then used the white eyeliner on the water line and using the same dark colour in the Stila pallet (Sandstorm) along the bottom lash line using a Real Techniques accent brush. Finish the look with LOADS of mascara. Then just used the concealer for any fall out and just to clear up any smudges and make my flick a lot more sharper.

I used the soap and glory pallet to fill in my eyebrows using a MAC 266 and the colour Mud Honey.

Finishing with some light contorting on my cheekbones and a little highlighter. For a highlighter I used S&G colour vanilla as I wanted something Matte and not shimmery. Lastly, lipstick to finish!

Sorry the picture isn't a little clearer. I don't know what is going on with my phone! It usually takes photos really well!

Anyways - hope you like it! I know it isn't 100% the same but I have done it so it would suit my face shape more.
